Accepted Answer

Store lyophilized vials cold and away from light, and reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. Let the vial and the bacteriostatic water reach room temperature before opening, wipe both stoppers with alcohol and use sterile technique throughout, then add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the vial, in a volume appropriate to your research protocol. Swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Do not shake. Label the vial with the date and contents. After reconstitution, refrigerate the vial, keep it labelled and away from light, and use it within the timeframe stated on the product documentation or label. Refer to the product's documentation for storage and handling specific to that lot.
